Package Protect Coverage Policy

Dedicated support and claim review if your package is lost or damaged. Offered as a service contract by Deliveri USA, LLC not insurance.

1. What Package Protect Includes

Package Protect is an optional service that enhances your shipping experience with dedicated support, claim review, and discretionary reimbursement if a package is lost or damaged.

Deliveri’s insurance coverage applies only to:

  • Shipments purchased through Deliveri’s platform.
  • Shipments where the user has opted to purchase insurance at the time of label purchase.

2. How it works

1. Add Package Protect at checkout

Select Package Protect when creating a shipment and set your Protection Amount, the reference figure Deliveri uses when reviewing your claim.

2. Something goes wrong

Your package is lost or arrives damaged. Contact Deliveri support to open a claim.

3. Submit your documentation

Provide proof of purchase, tracking records, and photos of any damage. Filing windows apply — see below.

4. Deliveri reviews your claim

We review your claim against the terms in effect at the time of your shipment. All determinations are made by Deliveri at our sole discretion.

5. Resolution issued

For approved claims, we issue account credit (default) or a refund to your original payment method. We'll contact you with the outcome either way.

3. Claim Filing Windows

Claims must be submitted within the following timeframes. Claims filed outside these windows may be denied.

4. What's supported and what's not

Shipments without a confirmed Package Protect selection

6. Pricing

Free
Orders under $100
Package Protect is automatically included at no charge. You'll see it confirmed in your order summary — no action needed.
Paid
Orders $100 and above
Add Package Protect at checkout. The fee is based on your selected Protection Amount and shipment details. Non-refundable once the shipment is processed.

7. Your Protection Amount

A reference figure — not a guaranteed payout
The Protection Amount is the figure Deliveri uses as a reference when reviewing your claim. It is not a guaranteed payout, a coverage cap, or an insurance benefit. Reimbursement is discretionary and determined by Deliveri.
You can set it lower than item value
If you choose an amount below your item's actual value, that lower amount — not the item's value — is the reference for your claim review. Choose carefully.

8. How to file a claim

Contact Deliveri support with your order number and a description of the issue. We'll reply within 7 business days with next steps and a list of the documentation we need.
